Water based heritage trails

The good ship Lady Lock of Boltelai will soon take to the water

to offer people a chance to learn about the history of the Leeds-Liverpool canal and what an important part it has played in the development of our town and beyond. Guided boat trips from the Lock & Quay will become a regular feature of the canal-side district’s programme of water-based activities.
